The Q-1

The Q-1 is a designation that came as a surprise to us. This is the only "Q" machine we have ever seen. We know nothing about it, it's special purposes or applications. It showed up on the eBay auction site and we were not able to be the high bidder. It seems to carry the serial number of 657 - a low number, but suggesting there are hundreds more "out there" somewhere. It was made when the International Register company was making the machines, the label seems to suggest. The case shape places it as one of the "modern" machine. It is included here as a visual proof that it does exist and we hope that we will be able to shed more light on it in the future. Stay tuned!
